Lost Connection to Elocarry Launcher
If you encounter the error message “Lost connection to Elocarry Launcher”, follow the steps below to resolve the issue.
Your firewall may block the connection to the Elocarry Launcher. Follow these steps:
Open Control Panel.
Navigate to System and Security > Windows Defender Firewall.
Click Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off (on the left panel).
Select Turn off Windows Defender Firewall for both private and public networks.
Click OK to save changes.
Note: If you are using a third-party firewall, refer to its documentation for disabling instructions.
Certain Chrome extensions may interfere with the loader or website injection. To check and disable them:
Open Google Chrome and type chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
Review your active extensions.
Disable all extensions by toggling the switch to the off position.
Restart Chrome and try reconnecting to the launcher.
Windows Defender might block the Elocarry Launcher from functioning correctly. To disable it:
Press Windows + I to open Settings.
Navigate to Update & Security > Windows Security.
Click on Virus & Threat Protection.
Under Virus & Threat Protection settings, click Manage settings.
Turn Real-time protection off.
Some antivirus programs can block or interfere with the Elocarry Launcher, even when disabled. For a complete fix:
Temporarily disable your antivirus software by right-clicking its icon in the system tray and selecting the disable option.
If the issue persists, uninstall the antivirus:
Press Windows + R and type appwiz.cpl.
